Description du contenu de l'enseignement :
The main purpose of this module is to give tools to students for other math modules ( statistics, optimization, linear algebra, financial math, microeconomics…).
Week 1 : Study of functions
Week 2,3 : Line equation
Week 4,5,6 : Polynomial, logarithm, exponential function
Week 7,8 : Power function
Week 9,10,11,12 : Differentiability of function with one or two variables.
Compétence à acquérir :
On completion to this module, students will improve their skills to derivate real functions with one variable or two variables.
Mode de contrôle des connaissances :
Grading Criteria : Midterm exam and Final Exam 50% each
