Description du contenu de l'enseignement :
Along the semester the students learn about / Les thèmes abordés au cours du semestre sont les suivants:
- Information Systems (IS) basics
- IT basics to manage the Data & IS
- Data basics
- Data management
- Industry 4.0: many new tools
- New uses vs. environmental & social stakes
- Cybersecurity to protect the Data & IS
- Project management in Industry 4.0
During the semester high-level speakers will deal with key topics in depth: GDPR, digital transformation, data centers and sustainability / Durant le semestre, des intervenant.e.s de haut niveau viendront approfondir certains sujets essentiels comme la RGPD, la transformation digitale ou encore les data centers et leur durabilité.
Compétence à acquérir :

- To get acquainted with the basic notions in Data and Management Information Systems
- To be aware of the new technologies which impact the uses and information systems
- To feel comfortable with IT projects as a stakeholder
- To know the basic vocabulary and actors of any IT project whichever approach is set (agile or classical)
- To remind how essential are cybersecurity as well as environmental and social stakes

- Se familiariser avec les notions clés en données et gestion des systèmes d’information
- S’ouvrir aux nouvelles technologies qui accompagnent l'évolution des usages et des systèmes d’informations
- Savoir se repérer dans l’écosystème d’un projet en lien avec l’IT
- Connaître le vocabulaire de base et les intervenants de tout projet informatique, peu importe l’approche (classique ou agile)
- Rappeler le rôle essentiel de la cybersécurité ainsi que des enjeux environnementaux et sociaux
Mode de contrôle des connaissances :
- 40% Continuous assessment / Contrôle continu
- 10% oral participation along the semester / participation orale sur le semestre
- 30% group project / travail en groupe à rendre
- 60% Final exam / Examen final
