Description du contenu de l'enseignement :
The course provides students with a first introduction to research in Organization Theory and to some of its current topics and issues. It aims at enabling them to develop a more sensitive reading of organisations, organisational phenomena, and discourses around them.
In addition to knowledge related to the theory of organizations and the major themes associated with them, such as rational approaches to organisational design, contingency theory, organizational culture, or some organisational internal processes such as organizational decision processes, this course enables students to develop a capacity for analysis of contemporary organizational phenomena that is sensitive to its underlying assumptions (particularly epistemological). Students will also be introduced to the reading of scientific articles.
