The students should get acquainted with the best known methods aimed at structuring and formulating a decision problem and learn how to conduct a decision aiding process.

• Decision Processes and Decision Aiding Processes.
• Problem Structuring Methods either oriented to one precise decision support method or independent.
• Formulating a decision problem and choosing a problem solving method.
• Revising and updating a decision problem.
• Constructing explanations and justifications.
